According to the Turkey’s Ministry of Commerce, exports to OIC member states in this period accounted for 26.9% of Turkey’s total exports in 2020.
Turkey’s exports to these countries decreased by 46.3% compared to May 2019 and reached $ 2.4 billion. Exports to OIC member was 24.9% of Turkey’s total exports in May 2020.
The Turkey’s Ministry of Commerce reported that the Turkey’s imports from OIC member countries decreased by 9.3% from January to May 2020. Turkey’s imports from these countries accounted for 12.7% of the country’s total imports during this period.
In May 2020, Turkey imported 21.1% less than the same month last year, which barely reached $ 2 billion; 15.2% of Turkey’s total imports this month were from OIC member states.
Turkey’s foreign trade in May 2020 was more than $ 23.3 billion.
Turkey’s exports decreased 40.9% this month from May 2019 and reached $ 9.9 billion. Turkey’s imports this month fell 27.8 % compared to the last year and reached $ 13.3 billion.
According to the Turkey’s Ministry of Commerce, the total trade volume of the country in the first five months of this year was $144.1 billion.
Turkey’s exports fell 19.7% in the first five months of this year and reached $ 61.5 billion.
Turkey’s total foreign trade in 2019 was equal to 374.2 billion dollars.
